The facilities are made available through the generosity of past nurses, midwives and other healthcare staff, benefactors and the public. The facilities are maintained by members for you to enjoy. Please take care of the units and facilities during your stay.
Maximum occupancy
Five occupants overnight per unit. This limit must be adhered to please.
Using the facilities
Remember, these are not serviced units. The person before you should leave the unit clean and tidy - please do the same when you leave.
Please bring with you all bedding that you may need, i.e. quilts, sheets, pillow cases, tea towels and towels for your personal use. These are not provided. Also bring with you food, hygiene and other personal items. There is a dairy and large mall nearby if required. There are also cafés and restaurants locally and many take-aways will deliver. Essential kitchen equipment is provided (there is no oven in units 3, 4 or 5 but there is an electric hob and microwave). If using the oven in unit 1, please leave it clean.
Facilities available on site for your enjoyment
We want everybody who uses our facilities to have a wonderful time. Each member is responsible for their conduct and that of their whānau who book and use these facilities. Parents/guardians are asked to supervise their children to ensure that they remain safe at all times and allow everybody to enjoy their stay.
When using the spa pool, please cover the pool and close the spa pool door firmly after use to limit unauthorised access. Parents/guardians should supervise children whilst using the spa room at all times.
Parking
One car per unit only. There is free on-street parking. Please do not park on the grassed area.
No smoking in all accommodation or on the grounds
Extra cleaning costs (where someone has smoked) will be on charged to the relevant member. Cigarette butts must not be left outside on the lawn or the paths please.
Cleaning
You should find the facility clean and stocked with basic equipment each time you use it. Members are asked to make sure that the premises and content is left clean and in good condition before they leave. An additional fee will be charged if the unit is damaged or left in a mess requiring commercial cleaning.
Loss of keys
If you lose the key, this must be reported. Payment for a replacement of $30.00 per key will be charged.
Animals
You are welcome to bring your dog to Manly with you. Please note that whilst the garden is fenced, some dogs may be able to escape.
