We offer facilities for people working in health services for rest and recreation close to Auckland, at a cost-effective price.
When not being used by members, the units are available for the public to book.

Society Members:
- Summer: $70 NZD per night ($80 NZD per night for friends/family of members)
- Winter: $55 NZD per night ($75 NZD per night for friends/family of members)

CHAMBERLAIN HOUSE
Chamberlain House is a recently refreshed three-bedroom house within easy walking distance of Manly beach and other local amenities.
The house is spread over two floors with the master bedroom, bunk beds room, toilet and shower room upstairs. Downstairs contains a large lounge area with seating for everybody, fully functional kitchen and two private outdoor areas.
Just a few steps from Big Manly Beach and a 19-minute walk from Little Manly Beach, Chamberlain House features barbecue facilities, access to a patio, free private parking, and free Wi-Fi.
Five units are owned and managed by the Rest and Recreation Society, which provides holiday accommodation to healthcare staff. When not being used by members the units are available for the public to book.
Guests will have full private access to the two bedroom unit, including living, dining and kitchen space and shower room. Guests will share the large garden, trampoline, games room (pool and table tennis) and spa pool with other guests. One car park space immediately outside the unit is available, with further free on-street parking if required.
JOIN THE SOCIETY
For only $30 per year ($10 per year if you are retired), healthcare professionals will be able to benefit from reduced accommodation rates at Manly Beach in Whangaparaoa
A one-off joining fee of $50 applies.
Please note that only bookings through Airbnb include full services. Members will need to bring their own bedding that they may need, i.e. quilts, sheets, pillow cases, tea towels and towels for your personal use as these are not provided.
